I get asked all the time what keeps me motivated for living a healthy lifestyle. I have to say that my motivation comes from LIFE! Wouldn’t you like to wake up everyday knowing that you were strong enough to take on the day?
I am not going to say that I am always super motivated to workout or even to stick to healthy eating. I am human, but that doesn’t give me the excuse to give up all together. Motivation is something that comes and goes with everything you do. Restructuring your thoughts to regain that motivation is important! Remember what motivated you in the first place. One of the biggest things you can do is surround yourself with others who are only going to keep pushing you forward. Negativity is draining and can create a downward spiral in your life!
To stay motivated, I am constantly changing things up. This isn’t just with my workouts, but with everyday events in my life. We all get in the same habits that become boring. Keep things exciting! 5. Reward yourself! Everyone’s rewards are different, but whatever it is, make sure it is something that you can put your mind elsewhere for a little while…
Staying motivated is something we all struggle with at times. This is why it is important to find ways to keep moving forward. Be prepared for the bad days that will come….embrace them because what is life without a little struggle?
