What better way to begin my first blog post than with a killer stair workout!! Not the best pictures, but it was only me taping this morning!I also apologize for the video quality! It will get better with time! I know I previously posted this one, BUT stairs are honestly one of the BEST workouts you can get whether you just walk them, run them, add plyometrics or agility training, or really whatever your heart desires!! Stairs are great for not only leg and core strength, but also for raising your heart rate! When your heart rate is raised, you’ve had a good workout!
This is what I did this past Sunday morning…
10 rounds of 15 squat jumps onto stairs, then sprint rest of way (not pictured)
6 rounds staggered run all the way up
5 rounds 1 legged hop , 10 each leg, then sprint rest way up
4 rounds pop push ups, then straight into scissor jumps up stairs ( jumps not pictured)
Finished with 3 rounds 15 squat jumps and sprint up stairs ( sprint not pictured) Legs were on fire and heart rate was UP!!
